Our New Autograph Whitening Pen

Whiten at home & on the go with Innovative Technology

The Autograph Whitening Pen is a versatile “brush-on” tooth whitening applicator can be used at any time, anywhere. Whether you are whitening all of your upper and lower teeth, or just require a touch-up on those difficult, hard to reach spots, The Autograph Whitening Pen is ideal.

Simply remove the cap, turn the pen until a small droplet of whitening gel appears and apply directly to the teeth.

  • Can be stored at room temperature
  • No trays necessary
  • High viscosity gel for excellent results
  • Convenient and easy way to whiten teeth

The Autograph Whitening Pen uses Innovative PVP technology, (polyvinylpyrrolidone) which ensures an ideal viscosity and chemical stability at room temperatures. The bleaching action, releasing a peroxide comparable to 6% hydrogen peroxide, begins when the gel makes contact with the teeth.

How Autograph Works

Autograph gels contain carbamide peroxide – a special whitening agent.

During the whitening process, carbamide peroxide penetrates the tooth surface and oxygen molecules break down the stain molecules.

The agent spreads through the entire body of the tooth – lightening the tooth from the inside out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your dentist can advise on your suitability for tooth whitening. First of all, your dentist will perform a full check-up to assess your oral health. Following this, you can discuss the options available to suit your needs.

If you are pregnant you should not whiten your teeth. Also, if you have gum disease, worn enamel, cavities and exposed roots, your dentist may decide you are unsuitable for whitening treatment.

Tooth whitening is perfectly safe when prescribed by a qualified registered dentist or orthodontist. Tooth whitening is a gentle, non-invasive way to lighten the shade of your teeth. Autograph contains sodium fluoride which can help prevent decay and cavities, and Potassium nitrate, which helps to calm the nerves in the teeth.

The number of shades your teeth will lighten depends on many factors, including the starting shade and cause of discolouration. If you have crowns or bridges, let your dentist know as these cannot be lightened by any tooth whitening gel.

Noticeable results are usually seen within three to four days. Most patients are satisfied with with result achieved after a seven to ten days treatment after wearing one for one to two hours per day.

Tooth sensitivity can often arise during teeth whitening. If sensitivity occurs, it is often temporary and will fade after the treatment is complete. Autograph Whitening gels contain special desensitising agents which can dramatically help to reduce sensitivity.

The results you will see from Autograph Whitening are stable and can be long-lasting. However, factors such as genetics, diet, age, medications (for example tetracycline), and smoking habits may affect the length of your whitening results. When you wish to have a touch-up treatment, top up packs are available to purchase to regain that white smile.

It is not necessary to use a light in order to achieve great results. Many studies report that a light does not offer any advantage over using gels alone.
